What you can expect when working with us:

The Good Morning Recovery program offers a comprehensive, individualized approach to addiction recovery. Our program is structured as a full-year program, divided into four distinct protocols, each designed to deliver sustainable and positive results. Please note that each protocol is compounded on one another. As a client progresses through the program, the previous protocols are expected to be managed and maintained. This is, however, a hyper individualized program. That being said, a client will move through these protocols at their own pace and at the discretion of the coaches and clinicians assigned to them. The typical year program is as follows:

The first protocol, "The Stabilization Protocol," focuses entirely on substance abuse recovery and the mental, physical, and emotional stabilization that occurs following the removal of drugs and alcohol.  The expectations within this protocol are as follows: 90 meetings in 90 days following the dedicated detox period;  participation in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) therapy and individual therapy, and the requirement of a sponsor within the first month. Additionally, clients are encouraged to engage in some level of physical activity for a minimum of two days a week.

Throughout this time, the case manager assigned to the case will be collaborating with the treatment center clinicians/sober living managers, consulting with appropriate family members, and picking up the client for recovery and wellness focused activities. In an effort to emphasize the importance of community building, hikes, beach volleyball, 12-step meetings, and group dinners are common activities for the case manager/coach to engage in with the client.

In the second protocol, "The Health and Wellness Protocol," clients will dive deeper into personalized nutrition, spirituality,  and fitness, continuing their recovery efforts through their case manager,  IOP and working through the steps (case by case).

With the guidance of our expert clinical nutritionist, Noelle Thomas, and our spiritual program director, Niki Cremmen, clients will develop a well-rounded, holistic approach to their health and well-being. At an additional cost, we will also pair the client with one of our  personal trainers to identify and meet their fitness goals.

The "Professional and Educational Protocol" aims to rebuild confidence and self-esteem by helping clients explore their passions and capacity to re-enter the workforce or pursue higher education. With our support, clients generally start with a "get well job" to ease back into the complexities of the workforce or navigate the process of pursuing higher education.

Finally, in the "Maintenance Protocol," clients will focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance by consistently applying the principles and practices learned in previous protocols.

Throughout the program, clients will receive random drug testing, daily breathalyzing and  check-ins, with weekly check-ins with their assigned clinicians and family members. Our GMR team is available to the family members 24/7 for support and crisis management.
