Meet the Founder
At the ripe age of 13, Joe was introduced to smoking weed. By 15, drugs and alcohol began taking the lives of people he cared for and became his only coping mechanism to process grief. Joe’s addiction compounded as the death toll grew, and as a result he spent roughly 3 years in and out of treatment centers with only a few short stints of sobriety to show for it.
Shortly following a relapse in his final treatment center, the “light” turned on. Joe decided that he was willing to do whatever it took to give his loved ones the worry-free nights that they deserved. The underlying question of who he would be without drugs or alcohol finally had it’s answer: he loved who he had become and had found his purpose in life.
After cheating death for years, Joe found his purpose by helping families and their loved ones beat this disease. Joe’s experience has allowed him to identify the many benefits and flaws of the treatment industry. Most critically, aftercare maintenance is often lacking. Upon learning that up to 80% of relapses occur in the first 90 days following discharge, Joe decided this is where he needed to direct his focus. As a result, Good Morning Recovery was born.
Now Joe provides a first class, personalized service to clients and their families. By assisting his clients with everything from intervention and treatment center identification to aftercare planning and recovery coaching, Joe aspires to rebuild broken relationships, reduce relapse rates, and save lives.
